Jesus Christ,
Who can neither deceive nor be deceived, once took His apostle to
Caesara Phillipi. There, near an enormous rock, the Savior gave Simon
the keys to the kingdom of Heaven.
With
the keys came Simon’s new name -- Peter, or “Rock” (cf. Mt. 16:18-19).
In Jesus's native tongue there is only one word for rock -- Kepha.
Kepha refers to a rock that is a firm foundation.
Kepha
is our name. Kepha reflects our fidelity to the Pope. Kepha signifies
the rock-solid firmness of our conviction. Kepha is the stability on
which we support our charism of dynamic orthodoxy and infectious joy.
